I have wide feet. In the past, I have had very good luck with New Balance shoes. This style however is not true to size and runs very narrow. It is listed as a D width but is more like a B.

These are called training shoes, but they feel like running shoes. The tread on the bottom is like a running shoe (running horizontally, which does not help with side to step motions) and they are still too tall. New Balance knows running and they did not really veer enough from their running shoe platform when trying to make cross training shoes.
